Absolutely terrible at knot tying

Same. I suck at knots and I'm laughing at all of the tie down replies because I've got no problem with those.

Decent fly casting. Used to be deadly accurate with a bait caster but don’t do it enough anymore. Streaky wing shooter. Good with a rifle. Atrocious duck caller. Know my limitations with turkey calls so I do ok. Good at starting projects but can’t seem to

I over engineer the simpliest of things.
Mechanical work, I tend to research YouTube or phone a friend

Construction and historical data on construction science are my strengths.

Good:
Cleaning
Shooting
Digging up things
Being still and quiet all day
Finding a way to run wires in weird places
Splitting wood
Casting and catching
Fire and cooking on it
Navigation on roads and in daylight

Bad:
Boats in general
Anything with sheetrock, like repair or hanging things where there isn't a stud
Knots
Navigation in the dark off road (been on circles many times when trying to not use the phone)
Staying up late

Man, yall are missing out. Pow pow would not be impressed. Rope is so awesome once you learn some cool stuff with it.

You could even do away with your ratchet straps if you learn how to do some cool hitches or lash knots. It also looks way cooler.

Good- Mechanical work, seeing the good in people (I never see the negative unless it’s really bad) fishing for catfish, just retired 30 years as medic inn fire service, very good under pressure

Bad- Negotiating, electrical work, finishing a book (I start strong and then the last 25% will take me a month to finish) not good with computers, never been good at figuring deer out

Decent wing shooter.

Excellent duck and goose caller...have enough sense to know when to shut the hell up LOL

Not good at finding fish - subscribe to the school of thought where hard work will eventually pay off. It rarely does but its fun trying.

Can do about anything around the house or to a vehicle. Don't know how good I am at it but I am better than most of the "pros" that you can pay to do shite around the house and to a vehicle.

Good at keeping a yard clean, terrible at keeping it immaculate and weed free. I think of my yard as habitat. My neighbors may disagree. frick 'em...they ain't paying the mortgage.

I can fix things, but can't create things. Like, I can fix an existing deck, but I could never build one from scratch.

Good:
Growing stuff
Cooking stuff
Can weld up a broken heart
Can still hit the piss out of a baseball

Bad:
I may can weld but I can’t fabricate a damn thing
I can’t catch a fish to save my life.
I’m a fair weather hunter at best. I enjoy getting out there but I don’t have the dedication to truly “hunt”
frick plumbing.

Not "good" at much else cept maybe being on time.
Passable at pretty much every thing else I suppose.
Somehow I have managed for 60 years.
Oh yeah, can't whistle worth a flip either.

I am exceptionally good at losing leaving shite in the woods. I bet I have 2 dozen gloves with only the left or the right. I have left everything in the blind etc at one time or another.

Last year my dumb arse got to perfect turkey spot before dawn had a Tom gobbling from the tree, put out a few decoys, and got set up only to realize I didn’t have my mfering gun. ( I had tripped over one of those damn vines that catch your boots in the dark while stepping over a log, and it knocked the breathe out of me and apparently I set my gun down against a tree) it took me 45 minutes to find it.

I am good in woods during daytime, but man I am not good in woods at night. My eyes just don’t adjust anymore.

I am also great at bringing 10 times more shite fishing than will ever need while forgetting the one damn lure I bought for the trip.
