Rode in most the big brands. If I was going in 19 foot range it would be bass cat or champion

Know a lot of guys that have them, none of them have anything bad to say. My next one will be a bug, probably the 190 also.

My brother just bought a Legend. 250, two power poles, font/back/side imaging, giant gps ect. I have no idea how much he paid for it other than it being super expensive, but it's the nicest bass boat I've seen. Has really good reviews. Legend will double the money he wins for every tournament too. The tournament he's fishing this weekend, if he wins they'll give him a 60k boat on top of prize money. I would imagine its the same boat he has right now.

My dad bought one of the top of the line Nitros and he hates it. Has had it for a month and has already got it on Craigslist. It looks good but you can tell it isn't nearly the quality of the Legend/Bass Cats/Skeeter/Tritons/Champions. I'd prefer his last Pro Gator over it by a mile.

I'm poor, I want a Jon boat.

Edit: I wouldn't hate on anybody getting a Skeeter. They make a quality boat.

bass cats have been coming on very strong the last few years, at least down here...my next rig will likely be a bass cat or a legend if i ever do decide to stray away from champion (being i can't get a new one)

I've owned both and loved both. Too bad they dont make champions any more or i would have stuck with them. My first bass boat was a ranger and you cant go wrong with that. Only experience in a skeeter was my dad's and that seemed to be the roughest boat ive ever ridden in.

bass cat or a legend

This is really the right answer for some one wanting to drop money on the top of line bass rig made right now.

I would put Legend ahead of Bass Cat but only because I just like the Legend a little more.

#1 factor would be dealer and service center out of these 2 brands

I suggest, if you're up this way, go see both companies and then make your decision. Bass Cat, Legend and Ranger all are made within site of each other!!

Great place to find used cats. GL!

the finish on legends are top of the line, they don't even want u to see bare fiberglass under the lids up underneath, they put a finish on it through and through, plus they are the closest ride to champions I've been in

Never rode in a legend but there lines look real similar to the early 2000s champion and that was a good riding boat. I would probably go with the legend or Bass cat

My bro said last time at lake he was cruising 75 and felt like he was on glass. I'd like to get in and top it out.

The older champs handled rough water like no other boat back in the day.

Fished out of a 19 ft one in the McDonald's tournament last year on Rayburn with 30 mph wind and could run the lake as good or better that the big boats. Real dry ride also

I had a 99 champ 203 up until about a year ago, that was the best damn riding boat I've ever been in

There is no doubt BCB's are very sexy sitting on there trailers. They look fast without even moving...

If money was not an issue I would gladly own BassCat or Legend and would not think twice about it.

As for the OP if you are looking at Skeeter I would also look at the Z-7/Z-8 Nitros. I really like what Nitro is going currently.

Am I the only one who thinks y'all are batshit crazy for doing 80mph in a boat?
