Please move if wrong board. To install dropped rear shackles on an 07-18 Silverado you have to flatten out a few inches of the bed seam for shackle clearance. Sounds simple enough but I have beat and beat and just can't get it flat enough to install the new shackle. Any of you ever done this or have any ideas?

So how far are you attempting to lower the back? My '09 has a drop and I recall have any issue with bed clearance.

Have you tried using a hammer and not your purse?

I don't think there's an appropriate board on this whole site if you're trying to do a Carolina squat.

thank god

Just the 2" dropped shackle. Everything else stays factory.

No squat, just taking the factory 2" rake out of the back to get it closer to the factory front ride height.

When/if you figure it out, don’t forget to adjust your headlights.

I believe mine has a 3/5 or 3/4 drop and no issues.

No shite? I think that's my problem with only swapping to the longer shackles vs a bigger drop with an axle flip and shite. I may be better off just buying the parts needed to bring it on down. Thanks.

Mine was done in '09 and it was spindles in the front and i believe shackles & hangers in the back. Now that I'm thinking about it
.... it may be a 2/4. But it was a Belltech kit.
