Brought a 35 every day last week in GS. Put it in one of those collapsible wagons with big wheels from walmart. Was never bothered.

I'm thinking a cable lock like this will help deter Yeti thieves if I went for a dip in the ocean.

Where do you go to the beach at? Compton?

Have gone to the beach at either Gulf Shores, Pensacola, or Destin every year, sometimes twice a year for 30 years straight, leave ice chests, kayaks, chairs, you name it on the beach unattended, and in the past sometimes all night, and nothing has ever been taken. If something is taken in the future the cost to replace it is just the price I pay to be free from worrying about the stuff.

i hear saltwater and sand makes the glue adhesive on soft coolers come undone months after factory warranty is up.

Go somewhere where nobody fricks with your stuff. I took a borrowed (of course) Hopper to Orange beach and had no worries a few weeks ago.

Make sure it has plenty of beer and ice in it. No one wants to carry a 70-80 lb ice chest in sand.
My uncle came back to hus to find a pile of ice and beer in the sand. Thieves dumped it and took off with the cooler
