I'm still trying to figure out how that fat deer with those big arse horns got enough to get over that fence. Then how the hell did he get back out?
Very fine deer

The short brows times seems to be a common gene in south Arkansas.

They're common in central AR also. My family has some land in Yell county.

My dad shot a 155" 10 pt. last fall. That dude was very big bodied (probably about 225-230) and also had no browtines to speak of.

My brother also had shot a 120-130 class deer up there too and it was also tineless. He actually named him "Captain Browtine" because the G2s and 3s are huge, with nubs for tines.

I don't know if they fight a bunch and break them off or if they are just born without tines, but either way, most of the deer in AR are completely devoid of them...

Do you even know what a shopped photo looks like? There is no stretching either vertically or horizontally. Nothing in the background of the deer is stretched. The pic was taken right off the camera and uploaded from my phone to tinypic.

I was thinking the same thing. I bet his fatass gets stuck inside the feeder fence for days at a time. Hence his obesity. Nice buck though. Looks like a keg on legs.

You guys think he would score over 140?

8 inches on brows
16 inches on g2s
16 inches on g3s
50 inches on main beams
18 inside spread
12 inches on bases
10 Between g2s and brows

8 between g2s and g3s

So 138 to 145 if those measurements are close . Hell of a deer . I killed a 8 last year that was 144 . They look real close to each other

Here's the comparison of mine on trail cam

maybe it's just because he is so damn old, I've just never seen a deer that short and squatty before

That deer's g2's look way longer than my deer's. once mine is out of velvet I don't think he will look like that.

They were 13 inches . But your deer has better brows and longer main beams

I think he would. I would think 150's with that length and mass.

I started feeding protein before last season ended hoping they would recover from the rut better and put on more bone. Apparently this deer let it all go to his arse

With no brow tine length and smallish g2s he will not reach 150" and will be a stretch to hit 140". I think the ridiculously long main beams are throwing people off, his tine length is good but not great for scoring (which you need for an 8 pt to hit the 140" mark).

You don't think his mass will make up for the lack of brow tines?

I don't, that's velvet mass that he will lose.

Unfortunately he would make a much better velvet mount than he would a normal mount

He has good mass no doubt, but you can't be lacking in any area (brow tines, g2s to a lesser extent) for an 8 pt to score in the 140s-150s.
