scent block underwear or camo. Is it worth it?

Most ppl will say to just play the wind right and you don't have to worry about it. However, mature bucks will circle your stand and end up down wind at some point and the scent blocker suit will help in that instance. If you have the money then get one.

I think it's a gross waste of money.

Keep your first layer tight against your body, and if you do what you described you should be fine.

I could see an advantage bow hunting. Rifle hunting I wouldnt worry about scent to much.

Me: Use scent eliminating detergent on clothes, hang dry outside if possible, use scent block shampoo, soap and deodorant. All camoflage and usually a face mask.

Dad: Hunts in blue jeans and whatever buttonup shirt is fairly clean (all washed in regular Tide), always wears an orange hat, even in a box stand.

Dad always kills more deer.

Quality post. I'm not as strict on my regime as I should be. If buying the suit cuts some of the effort out of it then I'm game.

Let me share this with you. One of the old timers i hunt with uses pine scent car wafers from the dollar store and has for years. Kills a lot of big bucks. He swears by it, and we are not even in pine thickets.

Also, I carry this bacteria reducing spray product called sniper. I have no financial interest in it at all not sure where to even get it but a salesman gave me some last year to try out as was supposed to help with pet stains etc. They claim it can hide scent of piss even from a deer as it breaks down bacteria at once, and that a lot of hunters use this.

Last year right before it got dark my 11 year old had to take a leak. So after waiting two hours in the stand I thought great now we are done. We walked a few hundred yards down wind and both took healthy leaks at this point as I thought might as well. I remembered the Sniper and sprayed it all over the piss. Went back to the stand just for the hell of it. Within ten minutes there were deer all over us and my son shot a cull buck. (Assist shot really) Usually if you piss anywhere at our camp area is dead for days. So this crap might actually work after all. I keep a little spray bottle with me in the stands etc now. (Sometimes despite best effort I have to go too)

Should work on BO too on those damn hot days but not tried it. I think it is about five dollars or something a bottle. Anyway, just passing that along.
