I believe I would be talking to an attorney..
The county next to ours has arrested a few of our fine officers for no reason..
They all kept their jobs because they fought it and it came outthat it was bullshite

In BR, that would happen, but the judge would be throw it out and you'd be stuck with the fees anyway. That's how they run shite.

I think it is absolutely insane that you can be sitting in the passenger seat sleeping and get a DWI because you wanted some AC in 90 degree weather. Might as well just drive home if that is gonna happen. You have a better chance of making it.

It would be hard for me to contain my temper in a situation like that..

Especially if I've been drinking..

It happened to my step dad when he was younger. Started driving home. Decided he was too drunk to drive. Pulled over in a grocery store parking lot too take a nap. Next thing he knew, he was being handcuffed and hauled to jail for DWI

I've always heard no keys in ignition, and not in your possession and you won't get a DUI.
I guess put them in the glove compartment or something..
I live in a small town most of the cops I know. sometimes that's a good thing ,sometimes it's bad

I slept in my vehicle to avoid driving cause I was too drunk.

Not in the driver or passenger seat though

Were the cops clearing the lot at the bar owner's request? Seems they'd have no right to do so unless the owner wanted it done?

Also, them not securing your wallet is fricked up.

Yeah, you putting yourself in that situation is not the best thing but a lot of the other tangibles seem pretty shady and need to be looked into.

shite like that is the very reason I don't trust cops. The whole situation sounds like a crooked money making scheme.

I know most cops are genuinely good guys but enough of them are backwards to make me not trust any of them.

I have a buddy that I guess is a good cop. He is an Ascension sheriff, and mainly rides around pulling over MILFs and hot chicks all day. Doesn't ever write them tickers, but pulls them over.

Those thugs that don't wear their seat belts are his bread and butter. Probably about to go rob a house anyway, so they need to be checked. Driving an A8 without a seat belt? Probably leaving the scene of a bank robbery.

Naw, he doesn't do much of that. Just pulls over suspicious people all of the time
