LOL,ya that is the brother-in-law. You can post all those pictures. The other guy holding the head up is a random guy that stopped that night and asked me to take his picture with it. It was crazy all the people stopping to take pictures with it. Neither me or my husband posed with it. All the airbags deployed so our vehicle was totaled and we really didnt know what we were suppose to do. We expected the police to help us..not steal the damn deer.

I'm pretty damn sure that the law says that if you hit it with your vehicle it's yours. From what I was told, if DWF claims the deer then they are liable for damages to your vehicle. Can someone in the know give us a definitive answer on this?

Regardless, this is another good example of a douchebag cop doing cop shite.

Since there is no harm in this album, this would be a great time for you to learn. Below is the link to the profile picture:

htp://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h402/tiger591/Snapbucket/th_105586A7.jpg?t=1325214991

The bold part is the image name and some formatting codes. Delete that.

htp://i1108.photobucket.com/ really isn't a website you can access, but this is:

htp://www.photobucket.com/

Now put everything together and you get this:

htp://www.photobucket.com/albums/h402/tiger591/Snapbucket

ETA: Looks like they added some code to the post where it automatically changes web addresses to links so I took a 't' out of the http of each address

It used to work for me too but I couldn't figure out how they changed it where you could eliminate the last letters and go to the account

Is that old, dried up velvet on those horns? Guess he had a hard time rubbing everything off.

Fwiw, living in St. Gabriel, you can't expect much more from your local public servants.

From a LE standpoint. We had a policy come out about 5 years ago. Stated any deer hit required us to call wlf. If it was injured we couldn't kill it. Instead had to call wlf and see if they had a biologist that would come look at it. After sitting for 3 hours in the middle of the night waiting to hear from a biologist, all my reports ended in the deer being unable to locate.

Never call the cops until after you have hidden the deer.

I saw this happen in ST.Tammany. A women hit a deer and the cops were called, car had to be towed. A young kid saw where the deer went, and found it.(The kid was in a truck right behind the car that hit it.) He asked the lady if he could have the deer, she said yes. St.Tammany police said WLF would be picking up deer from them. The cop that put the deer in his truck, dropped it off at his brothers house, which lived two doors down from me. I grew up with these guys and told them that was fricked up. They asked me if I wanted a hind quarter, said no thanks.
