Curious what everyone is getting.
My regular MPG you lately has been about 14 miles per gallon. Just towed a little over 10,000 lb, and miles per gallon only dropped to 11.

I call BS on that statement…
My 2500 Sierra w/6.6L D-Max gets up to 28mpg unladen, gets 14mpg pulling 23,000lbs. That’s half the mpg, plus a healthy increase in DEF use when loaded/pulling…

3.0 Duramax-
Gets 20 city/28 hwy, has reached as high as 32 mph on a 100 mile average.
Towed tractor ~8500 lbs load and averaged 15 mpg.
Towed 22’ bass boat, -5000 lbs and got about 17 mpg

My hemi gets 19mpg on the interstate empty and 13 on the interstate towing my bass boat. It was getting 21/15 with the stock wheels and tires. My truck has the weaker rear end, 3:2.1 gears. Fuel economy dropped more than expected after leveling, aftermarket wheels, and MT tires. I unwittingly bought just about the heaviest wheels on the market. The new tire/wheels combo was easily 25# heavier per tire. Those fuel economy minded gears didn't like it.

‘22 tundra I normally get around 17-18 mpg.
Towed my son’s sequoia (6,000 by itself) on a 32’ car hauler right at 100 miles and the truck got 13mpg.

Thanks for reminding me my truck gets the worst mpg of the half tons. Even worse than the tundra.
