Broc Corcoran caught a record bass, 9 lbs 3oz, in New Orleans City Park on Monday, March 5, 2018. He was using a soft plastic minnow on a bait caster.

Where did he make the catch in City Park? Well, that’s a secret! Congrats Broc!

Met this guy two Saturdays ago in City Park. He was fishing 3 rods all with large swim baits. We talked for almost 30 minutes about fishing in the park and fishing in general. He said he was out to catch the record. Happy for him.

It has the hash marks of the net still on its body, like it was a scooped up floater. A feisty fish won't have those marks.

Bump

Went out there this morning and I saw the ole baw that caugh the fish

And I'm saying he was a true Baw. He was wearing the same camo as the pic in the OP, he had his sidearm holstered, and he had a beautiful flowing country fried pony tail

Nice guy too. Talked to him a little bit

It's not a secret where he went. Getting them to eat on beds is another thing
