Wife killed this one when she got home from work. Most rattles I've seen. Last one was by the barn under the tractor.

Looks like she knows just how to handle Satan's spawn with a car tire!

They're all over the SHR area, but I've yet to kill one with more than 14 rattles

You. Win.

Beautiful snake and certainly a justifiable kill. Kids and pets. I love all snakes, but I have zero issues with that kill. Big snake that could cause serious issues.

I was restacking some lumber today and another dam blue runner came out. My little dog was all over it.

Got a 17 and button before. Well, my son did with my truck throwing gravel everywhere running it over. Big SOB.

We have an old road bed that parallels our driveway in the woods. Every year we kill 2 or 3 crossing our driveway and have killed some small ones 3 or 4 inches long in the yard. Kids run up and down the driveway and through the pasture to the pond all the time and im constantly worried they will step on one

Personally more worried about the black widows that are fricking everywhere right now, have killed close to a dozen in the past week or so.

Rattlers know the Farmer's Almanac. It's going to be a cold wet winter aqui. They have to move to fatten up and get laid.

Excuse me for being dumb, but what does "SHR" stand for?

Same in AL. Had a rattler bite dispatched out today. First cool nights must have them moving around a bit.
