Does anyone have any experience with this rifle? Thoughts?

I own a PSA Dagger and consider it an excellent firearm. I know PSA makes quality rifles, but I know nothing about this one. I just saw it on their site and fell in love with the image. Yes, it reminds me of my active duty days.

What say you?

Edited to add: PSA PA-15 20"NITRIDE A2 RIFLE-LENGTH 5.56 NATO CLASSIC AR-15 RIFLE, BLACK

This would be more of what I honestly want....but maybe the 16" would be easier to fire and carry. If I only knew someone who owns both.

I’d spend $100-200 more and get one of their Sabre rifles. Much better parts for just a little bit more.

This has everything to do with aesthetics.

Is it a real dissipator or has it got a gas block under the forearm? I have a Flat Black Earth all Magpul Bushmaster Dissipator that I love. But it's not a real dissipator. Real one's were pretty hard to make work right.

Gotta remember that they did this for open sights originally so you had rifle distance between the front and back site on a shorter rifle. It's a weird design.

It's got a low-pro mid-length gas block; the front sight post is there to give it the retro look.

OP, if you're into it for the aesthetics, I say why not. However, as someone above noted, PSA is making Sabre models with a ton of upgrades for not too much more. One of them is very similar to this one, but with a quad rail. Looks awesome:

Spring for a model that comes with an FN barrel.

I bought a Colt M4 for this reason.

No burst fire of course.

I read the title and it was Chinese to me

Palmetto State Armory 16” inch barrel and 5.56 and after that I’m lost.

I’m not a military guy so I’m up on the JW4 dragons breath bullets
