On the CBOT today it was $659.50 and that was a drop of .075%. Be patient, it should fall

As long as dog food prices don’t go up, we’re all good.

The CBOT price doesn’t really tell the whole story. Big buyers are struggling to find corn right now and are paying a premium (high basis) to get it. We sold some the other day for $8.50 picked up at our bin. That is the highest we have sold corn ever. Even the Midwest is experiencing positive basis of up to $1 when they are always negative basis in the past. This market is very crazy with all of the big price swings.

Squeezing ever increasing amounts into our fuel tanks is a major factor. One of the biggest farces ever foisted upon the American public, much to the dismay of literally anyone that eats or would like better gas mileage. The only people it benefits are small engine mechanics.

It's not just corn. Soybeans are at some of their highest levels in a while as well. All this rain we've caught here has kept alot of beans from being planted, so there is about to be a mad rush to get them all in, or else these guys risk missing those prices.

shite. Soybean futures for the fall are at 13.5. Even our land can make money at that.
