My wife is asking what I want for xmas. Do y'all have a preferred for shorter ranges for bow hunting?

I have a Sig kilo 1200 or something like that. It's pretty good and was fairly affordable.

I have an AOFAR, that I bought from Amazon. Seems to do the job for me and at $70 to boot.
AOFAR Hunting Range Finder HX-700N/HX-800H 700/800 Yards Waterproof Archery Rangefinder for Bow Hunting with Range Scan Fog and Speed Mode, Angle and Horizontal Distance, Free Battery, Carrying Case

My Nikon quit working this season after about 15 years of use. I bought a Leica range master 2400 to replace it. It’s a little expensive, but if it lasts as long as my Nikon, it’s worth it to me. It’s super clear and I use it for bow hunting on close stuff, but I’ve also ranged deer well over 1,000 yards with it. So it’s pretty versatile also.

another satisfied SIG Kilo RF owner. I primarily use it for LR shooting but it works fine in the bow stand

I think my Sig is a 2200. Works fast. Use it for all hunting.

I have a bushnell prime 1300 it has a bow setting with angle calculation as well as a rifle setting that you can program certain ballistic profiles for your bullet and save it and it will tell you how many moa to hold.
150$ and so far I have no complaints.

I had a vortex ranger that worked well, I upgraded to a Leica 2800 that has much better optics and will range in almost any weather. I hear great things about the performance of Leupold rangefinders but not great things about their durability and warranty.

I use a Leupold RX-FullDraw 3 and have been pleased.

Have a Leupold and the kilo, but kilo shines for bow hunting, because of its range to zero, but not the best at reading in low light
