Smart. Committing a felony because someone is fishing “too close” to you at “your” spot on a public waterway. Pretty embarrassing excuse for a sportsman you are.
Use a few brain cells, mensa. How is he using a stationary 50 footer to intimidate a smaller center console?
If you were unsuccessful I'll help you out: we were stationary, he was the one acting like he was going to run us down. If a legal infraction occurred it was him that did so, not me. I live in Florida and I'm not obligated to watch a guy use or threaten to use deadly force without taking measures to defend myself. All I did was explain what would happen if he threatened us with deadly force again.
Now frick off.

These guys out here thinking they own the water, probably think they own the fish in the water too.
No one here or out there thinks they own the fish or the water. If anyone thinks they own the fish and the water, it is the folks that have no regard for others already at the hole.
Sitting there and allowing someone to potlick you without saying anything is like sitting in the cuck chair at the hotel. You like to be cucked, huh?

What does that even mean?

You actually can't use public resources as you see fit.
Also, there are public restrooms, and it's generally frowned upon to go into a stall or use a urinal that is already occupied. There are all kinds of public spaces where most people know how not to be a dick to others, public waterways shouldn't be any different.
When you hunt public land, would you go climb the same tree someone else is in?

It means you like to watch your wife get banged. While you watch.

Smooth box and GooDat. You are both a$$holes. I don’t reply much, just read. But the two of you are epitome of potlickers and poor sportsmen. Have a nice day. Tight lines.

My wife and I were apart of the lifestyle several years ago.
Not sure how that’s relevant to the topic at hand.

So the story changed from you verbally threatening him to shoot his boat to now he was going to run you over? You are a trashball my friend. The fact that you even carry a rifle with you when fishing tells me everything I need to know about you. Keep flying that Trump flag

The story didn't change, mensa.
Sorry you think guns are icky.

Goodat is an alter and he's trolling. Thinks he's funny and clever.

Louisiana is the only place I’ve ever experienced the whining of people fishing near others.
Bull shite...Fly fisherman in CO get mad just seeing someone else on the river. FL and TX are the same.

Why do you think that you can’t share a spot with others? It is a public resource.
So is a public restroom but i'd rather not share my stall.
So is a parking lot but it'd be a dick move to park your motorcycle behind me in the same spot as my truck.
So is the line at the grocery store but it'd be weird if you got close enough to me in line that I can hear your breathing in my ear.
It's common courtesy dude.

I stand corrected, I didn’t even consider fly fishing fairies, but yes you’re correct they’re the absolute worst to deal with.

I knew a guy many years ago who, when this would happen, he'd wait for a fish to be caught by the other boat and then cast into that boat and yell "Hey man, can you put my fish on my line?"

Some of you have definitely taken the bait in this thread. Hook, line, and sinker.

what is up with people thinking they own the water around their boat?
They should fish the Missouri trout opening day.

I don’t handle being potlicked very well. I’ll completely ruin a spot firing up the big motor and do laps plowing like a pack mule. I’ve been cut off Sac-a-lait fishing and asked “are you really gonna jump in front of me?” Get a blank stare, fire my shite up, go around and chop up every treetop goin and comin. Again plowing like pack mule and a “have a nice fking day” on the way by
