I saw Andrew's in Marion on the map! We used to eat there all the time when we hunted in Marion. Dad was there one evening when there was almost a shoot out in the gas station parking lot!! Good Times!!

Big BIG fan of suires, although was misled my first few times there by just going with the burgers...bout a 6/10 IMHO. Now, I bring an ice chest and stock up on pistolette and such. Phenomenal.

For 20 years, I made my post hunt trips to a corner grocery outside of Mangham/Alto called Poindexters. Killer burgers and breakfast sandwiches. It may have changed names a few times by now though. Don't hunt off 15 anymore, but I like to think they're kicking arse.

There is a Billy's in Scott on the map, is this a different place?

Yes, and it has the best bouding balls you will ever eat.

I would add Poche's to the list of meat market/restaurant. Gabe's in Rayne is absolutely fantastic for Fried Chicken, Burgers, Fried Seafood and Rice & Gravy Plate Lunches. They honestly have the best fry batter Ive ever eaten. They could fry dogshit and I wouldnt not eat it.

I love some Suires, but they are proud of everything in that place

it's an old country store with big city prices

eta: when on the way home from PI, we hit billy's up in scott almost every time, if I can make it that far without starving

the PI Food Store is good for a biscuit at 5 am though

Pecan Island Store- Tasso poyboy with bbq sauce & Mayo

Suires- Egg BLT, heavenly hash and boudin link. Bring back a couple Turtle Sauce P's for the wife. That place alone accounts for 10 lbs of weight gain during duck season.
