“PNW style” boots for work/daily wear..

SIAP. Searched back a couple months, but couldn’t find anything.
I’ve worn Blundstone and Red Wing boots for the last 10 years. I usually get a couple years of use per pair, so I’ve been through a few with each costing $300+.
I’ve been thinking about “investing” in a more durable brand, one that can be rebuilt or resoled. I really like the look of JK Bison OT, and I figure I could get at least 4-5 years before a resole would be needed, which would still be cheaper in the long run. Daily use can be anything from sitting at a desk to walking 5-6 miles on concrete. I usually wear the same boots on random short hikes, light scrambling/practice.
Does anyone have experience with these style boots? Still learning to post pics, so I’ll either figure it out or post a link.

ETA: can’t get a pic to post. Also, fun fact about this style of boot is that it was created by a man named Otto White in Spokane, WA. He grew up in Virginia, coming from a family of boot makers for loggers in the Blue Ridge Mountains back in the 1890’s-1920.
That business still exists, by name, but they sold to a corporation a while back. All of the “competitors” are former employees that branched off or similar scenario. JK, Nicks, Franks. All seem to be of quality, just preferential differences in what I’m looking for.

Are the Red Wings you wear not able to get re-soled?
I’m currently in the Blundstones, and have been daily for the last 2 years on Christmas. I don’t have the Redwings anymore. I’m sure it could have been re-soled but the lowers(mostly)/uppers were also not going to last another summer, two at very best, with daily wear.
I use Obenaufs for protectant, but they still get worked.
ETA: forgot a word

I was turned off by Redwing a couple years ago. My first pair lasted 2 years of abuse, bought the same model next time around and they lasted about 7 months, come to find out, they started making them in China.

JK Boots and Frank's. Frank used to rn Nick's.
Thos are thebes hands down. Red Wing can't hold a candle to those 2. I have been to both shops in Spokane and talked to both owners and watched them make boots.
My dad worked for the Forest Service for over years and half of that he volunteered for wildcard firefighting duty out west. Back then Nick's and White's was the standard but not anymore.

Check out Origin Boots. I'm hearing great things about them.

I have a pair of Helm boots that I have been very happy with. Not PNW style, but very well made.

Different styles, but I'm fixing to get some Jim Green African Rangers. Originally thought I wanted their Razorbacks but I don't need anything that tough.LINK

I like these as kickaround boots, but they remind me of a cheaper Blundstone and also not able to be rebuilt/re-soled.

USFS and BLM fire fighters I worked with wore White's. They can be resoled. Obenauf's to treat them.
