Could be a light freeze tonight. Will they survive?

Odds are they’ll show some stress but eventually be fine. Never can tell with tomatoes though, they’re drama queens.

What’s the projected low for your location?

Unless it hits 32, they will survive. If there’s a light frost they’ll take some damage but won’t necessarily die.

Projected low tonight in my location is 38. I’m not concerned.

I think the low tonight in the Denham Springs area is around 38 but I get frost on my truck a lot of times even without it being 32

Conditions have to be right for frost to form. The biggest being dead calm. It’s supposed to remain breezy through the evening and into the morning. Even my local weatherman mentioned that this morning and said frost will likely not form. You should be ok.

I planted mine back in the beginning of March and they look rough as all hell. I figure once they finally take off they will be tougher than all get out from the experience.

Tomatoes belle peppers and jalapeños should make it but cukes and green beans probably should be covered just to be safe.
