Anybody else been out picking them up? Looks like a good crop this year.

My mom has a nice tree and I pick up under a few trees that I know hang over right of ways.

Anybody else enjoy picking, shelling, and eating pecans? How many of y'all are dirty trespassing thieves?

Here are some pics from my recent haul...

I pick up different varieties and keep them sorted. The little ones are great for fudge and candies. I give those to Maw Maw.

I like the big meaty pecans, and prefer paper shells if I can find them.

Having one of these is clutch if you don't have paper shells...

They make a couple of devices that you don't have to bend over to pick them up...

I've got one of these. It's also very good for picking up brass at the range.
