I have a citori 20ga that was given to me by one of my dads friends when I was 5-6yr old.
I have used it my whole life it’s been used but not abused. None of my guns are safe queens they are all tools used as they should be. I’m not against a person that buys one and never shoots it but I will never do that.

Citori 12 ga hunter ...aka papa. Had it for 30 yrs, refinished to oil. Use it for everything, fits great. Also a beretta 20 ga onyx for pheasant grouse etc. Doesn't fit me as well, gotta get down on it. Have a cpl more that are specialized for trap, skeet, sporting

I’ve got 2 red label 12G. One blued and one all weather (stainless version with synthetic stock). Mainly use them for pheasant and the all weather always gets a lot of comments.

I simply have the Yildiz 12 gauge since 2006 and have killed waterfowl, dove, snipe, quail, turkey, rabbits, and a management buck in Texas with a slug.
I am not sure if slugs are recommended in that shotgun but just once to say I did it was good for me.

I have one 20 & one 12 gauge over/under Beretta. They both rock!

Bought a stoegor condor for $275 a few years ago and it's been pretty solid. Nothing fancy about it but it does it's job well.

Winchester 101 in 20gauge. Was my grandfather's and I hunt the hell out of it for ducks in the timber, marsh and fields. Not afraid to take put it through some stuff, but I take proper care of it. I know he would agree that is what they are made to do and how they should be used. If only I didn't have such shitty aim.

Citori Field Grade 12, 26 inch barrel with choke tubes which probably can't be removed...modified over modified. I have abused the thing hunting waterfowl, dove and all manner of upland birds from British Columbia south to Florida and east to the Czech Republic. It ain't as pretty as it once was but it still points and shoots like it day from day one. For the first 10 years I owned it it was in a duck boat or blind 60 days or more season. It has outlasted 3 very good labs and one that wasn't so good and has nearly outlasted a chunky duck hunter with a irrational hatred of anything that has wings and tastes good. I paid $800 for it at JC Penney Outlet in Forest Park Georgia in 1983. Yes, Penny's LOL. $800 was a kings ransom at the time...our mortgage payment was $450. First time I used it was the North Alabama dove openerin 1983....first and last time I ever shot over a limit of birds, accidentally hitting a dutch double on the 15th bird. I shot 16 dove the first time I ever had that gun in the field with one box of shells and 5 out of a second box...so 30 shells total. My average since has fallen off somewhat LOL but thats on me, not the gun. It is the best shooting gun, for me, that I have ever shot. This is a japenese import browning, not some fancy belgium with stainless and gold engraved receiver...just off the shelf at JC Penney.

Mine also. Almost no pitting though...the bluing is almost pristine after nearly 40 years in the field. I ain't the most consientious about keeping a gun cleaned either...one of the more alluring aspects of a O/U...I have a Bennelli semi and if that thing ain't dissasembled, cleaned, wiped with a lint free cloth and oiled with what must be, if price is an indication, the same oil used to anoint Jesus with, it will become balky and petulant. My Citori is as good as it was 43 years ago with a spritz of WD 40, a wipe of a T shirt about once a year and maybe a dose of Hoppes every 5-10 years.
I DIY hunted Manitoba several times with friends who always carried a back up gun. I took my Citori and that was it. They had all manner of semis...brownings, any number of italians...in a weeks hunt they would need the backup...I never needed one. Yes, I had two shots only but I saved a pile on ammo and had as much fun as anyone...

Ruger red label 12 ga. Use it for pheasant, dove, quail.
I have one in 20 and it is awesome. I just checked gun broker and good god almighty I wish I had invested in Ruger Red Labels when they were $350 LOL.

Browning Citori 525 12 ga. I actually bought this gun this week and haven't had the chance to shoot a round through it. First Over/Under I've had

citori and beretta. I find doubles interesting over autos.
I take the first shot more serious with a double. I think most people who shoot them much do. I seldom hit a double with an semi auto and I don't know that I have ever hit a double with a pump gun....but I hit doubles surprisingly often with my Citori. I have porbably hit almost as many triples with my Citori as I have with a semi....a single and a dutch double LOL. In 46 years of bird hunting I can only remember 4 triples....there may be more but I wouldn't bet on it....

Winchester 101
My second favorite shotgun I have ever owned. As good as citori but it doesn't fit as well or it would be my favorite. Were, at one time anyway, the gun of choice at the skeet range...almost all rental guns were 101s because they could be abused and fit people on average so folks starting out had a good experience and the experienced shooter away from home could rent a very good gun that would also shoot like a champ and last forever....

Sounds like my old man's citori. Has to be at least 25+ years old.

I was gifted a Citori 20ga Superlight Feather as an infant by a now long deceased family member. 40 years later the thing still beats my cheekbone to death more than any other firearm I’ve ever shot. Is this because of poor fit? How can I fix it? I’m not much of a shotgunner but am dove hunting more now. I’d love to use it more.

I have Citoris in 12 and 20ga. I hunt everything except dove and ducks with them. I prefer an automatic for dove and ducks.

My 16 ga Citori is my favorite for dove/quail and squirrels. Also on certain woodduck shoots on a small creek where the action is close in and you have to swing fast.
