Will water drain onto the house ?
If you mean the roof of the house, yes.
I'm not sure where the "your house is gonna flood" stuff is coming from. Water falls on a roof, and then runs into gutters that flow to downspouts. Been doing that for centuries....

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed
Great work so far
Nice of you to get a token Mexican to help frame it too

Nothing token about em. They're machines.
I'm more of a token helper. They ran out of nails a couple of times, needed gas for their generator, and required a stack of hamburgers and some Coronas. Other than running those errands for them, I didn't do shite.

Looks great.
Have you thought about cutting a section out of the roof and placing an outdoor fire pit/stove with a chimney that runs up that way you'd be able to enjoy a fire during inclement weather? Just something to think about.

Definitely gonna do a fire pit outside. But probably won't expend the effort to be able to enjoy a fire in inclement weather under the pavilion.
The next step (3-5 years) is to extend our "great room" another 16 feet or so and put a fireplace at the end of that room. I just need to choke this one down first!

Everything looks really good, just wanted to say if there's anything I can do to help just let me know. Sound ?? or T.V's. or anything in general. Thanks great job.

Are you the guy I'm thinking you are? Who came and hunted with us? (I can't remember all the TD handles vs the actual names)

That's one of the more creative ways I've been called a dickhead, it would take a lot more than that to "make me blush" though.

Put the chimney in. I'm telling you from experience, you'll want it. I still regret it.

That's an issue. I am gonna fabricate some sort of gutter.
Cut back the eave strut on the pre-engineered side and install an internal gutter with a downspout on the low end, which will be determined on which end is lower at grade level from a sheet drainage perspective.

It's an awesome project for sure! Can't wait to be cooking gumbo on the stove and enjoying an ice cold crown there at the next deer hunt!

Thanks. That was such a hectic weekend I feel like I didn't really get a chance to visit with anyone. But you were a gentleman and a huge help. Welcome back any time.
For the record, Fireman 54 stayed at the skinning rack until after midnight both nights, cleaning deer, hauling off guts, etc. Literally could not have done it without him.
This summer will be ready for your expertise. I want to do stereo with speakers, TV on a swing arm, security system with cameras, etc. As soon as you get free time, roll north and take a look. We can put together a plan. Make me a materials list and I will start assembling the gear.
