I once launched my boat on the boat ramp before it ever made it to the water
I have done this but it was a 2 man effort. Buddy took the strap off before I started backing down. Launch is at about a 40 degree angle. Didn't know he had taken it off and had to tap the brakes. Had to push it 30 feet into the water.

I think we have a new leader in the clubhouse based on damage.

How exactly did you manage that?

The only deer I ever killed was a doe.
I probably couldn't correctly tie a hook to line anymore.
One time I forgot to put the drain plug back in the boat.
I have a bunch of guns but they are still at my parents becuas eth ewife won't let me have them in the house.

If you boat watch at the Tarpon rodeo sometimes it's better than catching fish

Wasnt my boat...I have a fiberglass that i pretty much tore up when I launched it on pavement.
Story is... Went to jump levee, running wide open. hit it at a funny angle which caused the side to list and wake to rush into the side and back of boat. Instant sinkage.

That looks like one hell of a levee he was trying to jump.

Another good one...
Was running trot lines with DSS (who has some big ears) when we were 12. Trot line was under pretty high tension in the curve of the tickfaw. Line got hung on the back corner of the boat then popped loose. Hook went right through the top of DSS ear and started to take him over board. I quickly cut the line and saved his life. Spent about an hour trying to yank the hook out before he turned white and we decided it was time to tell his grandparents and head to the hospital.
Thats my story and im sticking too it.

I forgot about this one...
I have scoped myself twice. same gun, right side one year and left side the next. drew a lot of blood each time. I still have a scar on one side.
each time was because was in and odd position to to make the shot.
one was a 10 point

Love being in clubs where the members are like this.
This is why we don't kill many dear at our place. That and we usally end up shooting guns all night long.
