Tell me you’re for banning all hunting without saying you’re for banning all hunting.

Dog hunters don’t have the market on ignorance cornered, this thread proves that.

Sweet jump to the conclusion Batman!

I’m as pro hunting as it gets. I’m against trespassing and dog hunters are literally not worried about trespassing.

It’s invasive, they know it, and they do it whenever they want. Illegally

Ever think about this? Maybe I have land so that I can have privacy. Do whatever I want on my piece of dirt. Maybe it’s not even about deer. Maybe it’s the fact that I don’t want you and all your cousins seeing what I have on my property so that you can get drunk and come back and steal it. Or maybe I just don’t want you or anyone to see it? It’s mine. It’s my right. And dog hunters infringe on my right. frick em.

Generalize much?

This ain’t 50 years ago when dog hunters just turn loose anywhere they want. My family realized things were changing in the 1980’s when people started leasing land to hunt. So guess what??? We formed a club and leased up land so we would have a place to keep running our dogs.

Most people in this thread that are against it have probably never been affected by dogs. It’s just the “cool” thing with these new age camo face corn pile horn hunting millennials to jump on the band wagon.

Fair enough. The only dog hunters we encounter are trespassing. Unfortunately. We used to run dogs but we had 1600 acres of private land to do it. IDGAF what you do on your private land. If you own private land you can probably afford GPS and shock collars. So, you’re a casualty of bias because other dog hunters are professional trespassers.

The 10% of good dog hunters have done nothing to support legislation or change the perception given them by the 90% of shithead dog hunters.

You know sometimes still hunters trespass too? And some even poach and shoot deer at night.

Just saying.

Maybe we should ban all hunting.

Yeah, if you own private land and aren’t cultivating your deer for harvest, you’re just making life harder. You think the big bucks just leave the woods and acorns to go eat off a feeder at 5pm with the rest of them?

If it’s YOUR land, I don’t care how you harvest YOUR deer.

I don’t need to prove my Daniel Booneness to anyone.

If you shoot a trophy buck and it runs on my property are you going to trespass to retrieve it? The law says I don’t have to allow you to come get it.

Kinda sucks looking at it from the other angle doesn’t it?

But how many openly trespass and sit on YOUR property or lease and then tell you "Oh well" or threaten to burn your camp?

I can afford to hunt in a club, I choose not to. I hunted public land growing up because the people who taught me how to hunt, hunted public. 2 years ago some coworkers said their club was taking members so I joined, and it was nothing but drama. So I’m back to hunting public land where it’s drama free and for the most part, people treat each other with respect.
Oh and for the record, I don’t run dogs. I only ever get to hunt over them when they cross onto public land in front of me.

. Lol the walker hound lobby is strong in DC and BR. Some of y’all are ridiculous, always wanting more laws and less freedom so long as it seemingly adversely affects others. Lol

I love dog season.

We always can tell when dog seasons rolls around when we start seeing more deer on our property.

So keep running all the deer off your property, dog hunters, I won’t complain.

Also, hunting with dogs is an OLD way of hunting. It was done to ensure people had food by moving the deer when deer weren’t moving. It’s not needed anymore.

To be fair, no form of hunting is NEEDED anymore. We hunt because we enjoy it.
