To me, this has been the best event watching wise. Maybe because it seem more comparable to what I like. They weren’t sitting there reading graphs the whole time and getting super fancy. Either pitching a creature next to a tree or slow rolling a spinnerbait

Wheeler was already in the lead and just caught an 8-5 to close out period 2. He is absolutely crushing them walking a frog. This is the first time I've been able to actually sit down and watch live but it's been highly entertaining.

How can anybody not like this format, it’s a pressure cooker.

That might have just a little something to do with the venue. A fish has to be over 20" to even go in the livewell, they have effectively banned tournaments on that lake.

Fits this format well with no “keepers”. I’ve watched MLF and liked it, but this event got me hooked. That last hour was electric. I think this has to make you a better fisherman fishing on your toes. Knowing you have to try and catch a 3 lb’er with 10 mins left and making all those moves.

Watching the live coverage today I noticed that the anglers are signing a paper after a fish is weighted. Is this something new? I don't remember seeing them do that at other events this year.

Yep, they are signing off on the official weight. Started doing it this stage.

So did someone have a complaint that the weight of a fish wasn't correct?

That was my initial thought, but I didn't hear them mention any incident/ discrepancy today or yesterday when talking about the new rule.
