nope. Just a slow day on the OB and I thought I'd shake it up. If a truck fit my lifestyle, I'd probably seriously look at the Fords. I just don't understand the constant circle jerk around them here.

Yep. Try 8.

You can seat 8 people, and haul more stuff than I can in a truck with a 6 foot bed, simultaneously?

No

You have to remove seating from the van to haul shite.

To carry around a comparable payload to a truck, you lose seating...the tradeoff is you have more seating available for when you don't need to haul stuff.

Then of course there's the issue of the 4WD, and ground clearance, but do we really want to get all mired up in comparing vans to trucks? Seems like a pointless discussion.

Besides an 81 Bronco when I was 15, all I've ever owned is GM trucks I'm on my 5th one. My next one will be a Ford, but I'm a little worried I will have the same feelings as you. That it just won't feel right.

It started as a running joke with the KR guys and then all the f-150 owners came out of the woodwork and now it seems like the whole board has one. I'm sure if someone had a Chevy/gmc thread, there would be more owners.

I gawk every time I do. I was just admiring this ad on the 5series site.

Damn that's fine.

you got me there.

I think i have a good idea, but I still doubt you can seat 8 and haul more stuff than a truck with a 6 foot bed. (or even a 5 foot bed for that matter)

Could be though, I defer to you since you're the one who owned the van.

Yep--not bad price. I wish it was not in L.A. What would it take to ship to LA from L.A.?

+1 but I haven't hooked a trailer to mine in probably a year.

Now, it has ridden on a trailer recently.

It's a 15 passenger van you remove the back 2 rows of seating and you have roughly 6 ft of space along with 8 seat beats.

I'm back to a pickup truck right now though.
