KAC is top of the line no doubt but you can get something like an X95 for that kinda money.

what are you building?

I will tell you the same thing I told Reds.

Look at the triggertech trigger.
I have a Geissele and they don't compare.

16” .223 Wylde

I debated for a while between triggertech and Geissele. I have a spare SSA-E so I’ll probably go with that for now but I’ll be surprised if I don’t buy something from triggertech by the end of the year

I need to source a gas block, fore grip, sights and optic. Other than that, I think I’m good to go for the build.

This is my 16" in .223 wylde

As to the trigger, it's the most crisp trigger you will ever feel. Best break on any you will find.

ETA: I'm trying to remember how many of the triggertechs I have. 5 I think. maybe 6.

Bolt guns and ARs.

got a question for you guys

I have a .223 Aero precision M4E1 lower and upper, BSF barrel and Fostech LM-BCG

It shoots light out with anything ive run through it but i want to mainly shoot Frontier 68gr BTHP. However when i chamber those rounds the bullet gets pushed into the casing so that i can no longer see the cannrlure.

Feeding any other Frontier 58gr or 72gr FMJ it does not have this issue. I ran 120rds of browning FMJ through it in hopes to break it in. Now about every 1 in 3 68gr BTHP get pushed in.
Any ideas other than it needs a little more wear before the BTHP dont get hung up?

Strange. Is your barrel .223 Rem
or .223 Wylde? Barrel length?

The Diamond just lets you drop the pull to .4 lbs. The break is the same. In my comp gun, I have it set at 1.25lbs. In my hunting gun I have it set at 2.25 or 2.5 lbs (I think).

any chance you can measure the length to the ogive? I would bet anything that it's longer and getting pushed into your lands where the others are not

I'd bet they added some of the weight not only by adding length to the bullet but also the length of the ogive.

I don't have anything to measure that. I can find someone who can.

Not sure why my buddy's gun runs them fine or I can run the 73gr without issue

Most likely your throat is just a little short. The more you shoot will erode it to the point it won’t be so tight

That's my thoughts. I have another 150 fmj just to burn through it and it should do the trick, I hope.
I assume the only issues with the depressed 68gr is accuracy issues due to the bullet jumping to the lands?

If I remember (and I may be wrong) but I read that the throat will lengthen .01” for every 100 roads.

I may have a decimal off on that but I think that’s what I remember.

Topped off my PSA kit build with a Primary Arms 3x prism to complete the rifle purchased in honor of the House assault weapons ban.

- PSA nitride MOE 16” rifle kit w/ 13.5” lightweight M-Lok handguard: $470
- Aero Gen 2 lower: $90
- Primary Arms SLx 3x32 prism scope w/ ACSS reticle: $280

Happy with it for $840. Looking forward to some range time. I was nervous about the optic having never used a prism sight before, but coming from the scout rifle world using fixed 2.5 power long eye relief scopes means I’m used to having both eyes open so it points pretty naturally.
