I sold all my backup sites long ago.
If y'all are going to use them, at least make sure they are zeroed.

I built a 300 Blackout with a scope on top and Troy offset flip up sights. I kinda of regret selling that gun because it was a decent combination close quarter & long range target acquisition.

Didnt mean to interrupt your larp session.

It’s your gun. I put buis on my first one because I wanted my sons to learn how to use them. Not long after leaving the military I would have called an AR without irons (and none of that plastic crap) stupid and potentially dangerous, but optics have gotten so reliable, especially for stateside use, that I no longer think that way.
If I were putting together my first one right now I’d get inexpensive Magpul plastic sights just to learn how to use them and put my money into a good red dot. If you already know how to zero/use irons on an AR I might skip them altogether.

He didn’t respond to you on his initial post, but you responded to him with a condescending comment
You’re being the a-hole here.

Might jump on that 14.5" pre-order to finish out a clone of the M4 I used on my 2nd deployment.
Already acquired the rail, Aimpoint, Matech RS, and lower for that build.

My DD DDM4 PDW arrived today. Already put the cherry bomb and irons on it. I have a Sig Romeo 4 on its way. Only took 3 weeks for Primary Arms to ship it.

Don’t go into it thinking this one will cover everything.
In 3 years you will own 4-5 more.

I was lucky. I had an email notification setup at Primary Arms for 2 months. Sitting on the shitter at 4:15 am and in comes an email saying in stock. Glad it was Taco Tuesday for dinner that night for once.

Ha, I bought my stag from them last week and picked it up locally today. Not sure why yours took so long.
