Has anyone ordered anything directly from Noveske recently? If so, how long did it take for an order confirmation or them to ship?
I started getting a build together a little over a week ago,and ordered from multiple places. Q, Esilencers, Primary Arms, and Optics Planet have all at least acknowledged that I placed an order, and most have shipped. I haven’t heard anything from Noveske.

I ordered a handguard during their clearance sale and it took weeks to get an order confirmation. Eventually I had to call their customer service for an update. They were super helpful.

Who knows, but I believe that is what Gaetz (sp) was writing about. More to check on the way they are being Judge, jury, and executioner when it comes to NFA interpretation. That rabbit hole could be interesting. Oh and to keep it AR based. Surefire mini2 stamp in today. Bought it in mid November of 19’ for those keeping up with current form 4 times.

finally got the can in from the Silencerco Bogo in 2018.
I still want to get a Wolfman for this 9mm but the Octane 45k will suffice for now.

My Micro Scorpion will be here Thursday. Found one with the SB collapsible brace on GB . Can’t wait. Already ordered aftermarket spring kit, magpul grip, and AK safety.

I love my scorpioins. Been thinking about getting a ACR stock for the pistol when I make it a SBR. I have one on my B&T acp45...well I will once my stamp comes back I’ll put it on.

Got my 10.5 upper in today. Don't care for the original A2 flash hider, suggestions? BCM extended flash hider or similar

Right on. First I’d have a look at different cans and zero in on one that you really want for that gun. After that, if the can is going to live on that gun 99% of the time time, then you can go either FH or brake in whatever qd mount is compatible or built for that particular can. If you’re going to take the can off the gun a lot, on a 10.5, I’d go with the flash hider mount if available.
On my 10.3 I used a closed tine warcomp because the mini 2 I just got will share time on a 14.5 middy. Even though the shortys are fire breathers, a good FH helps somewhat. While a brake, unsuppressed, is just obnoxious.
Long story short, I’d just pick the proper FH/mounting system for the can you eventually will toss on it.

Having a discussion with someone about defense/SHTF ammo and wanted to see what y’all thought.
Out of a ARs from 11.5-16” would you rather
1k rounds of 62g m855 (maybe accurate non expanding)
1k rounds PPU 55g soft point (maybe more varmint load but expanding)
500 rounds of Speer gold dot 62g soft point (quality ammo probably accurate and deep expanding)
Assuming those 3 sets of rounds are about the same price.

I have 75 Gr Hornady black ammo for all my HD AR setups.

Thats kinda what I was thinking on the m855 that it wasn't a good idea. Penetrate some...yes...but not real reliable at any expansion or fragmenting so putting a bunch of .22 holes even tho you had 2x as many rounds on hand as the gold dots.
I wasn't sure about the PPU SP....are they more varmint rounds and wont penetrate enough?
