I hope so. I thought this process was supposed to be streamlined with the combination of Trump and electronic processing.

The NFA Branch seems like its kind of a shite show over there right now.

Ya, it seemed like electronic processing was working too well.

You know them government leaches have to keep their jobs. E-file should have and probably could have eliminated like half of the processors.

Not to hijack the thread but I need a rec on a single point sling for my AR. I see a lot online but I don't want to buy a cheap one (quality wise) OR overpay.

TIA

Urban ERT makes good slings. This one can be rigged as a single point or a double point.

Some reason for the single point? I would recommend a VTAC sling to anyone who owns an AR. I personally upgrade to the padded version but these are simply the best and most user friendly.

I just prefer them; for me, they're easier to use

all that needs to be said. I don’t like single point just because there is no retention and you pretty much need a hand on rifle at all times to keep it from swinging wildly.

VTAC will cinch down to your body and hold it there. Leaving both hands free. Grab the tab and the sling releases away from body. Engineered to use off hand with the tab so always in control of the trigger and grips. Check out a video. Whatever you choose at least you are informed.

If I need a sling, IMO, I need a hand on my firearm.

Go two point or two to one convertible. VTAC is good, Magpul MS4 is good. Blue force Vickers are good. Haley Strategic D3 is good. Many options.

Thanks....that's why I asked on this thread.....no need for me to start from scratch when a ton of you guys have already bought, with and without regret, a sling.

I think one or two here own them and get good reviews.
The Ruger and the M&P 15 are generally on the same level. Buy whichever you find cheaper.

Had my gun put together and sighted in by A guy. Missed 2 hogs so went set up a target. Was shooting some Barnes ammo out a PSA .300 lower and was all over. Dirt, low on the target, etc.

Switched to some Beck ammo and got that bitch dialed in.

Any of y’all shoot Beck ammo? Any of y’all had problems with y’all AR barrels not working with a specific brand?

Give us some details of your gun. What’s he twist and barrel length?

On a .300blk a fast twist will not shoot a light bullets well. Use fast twist on heavy sub Sonics to stabilize them. Doesn’t do well with light fast bullets.
