If I wanted to mount my inforce at the 12 o'clock direct on the pic rail does it have to be set back from the A2? For example is this as far forward as you would go in relation to the front of the light to the muzzle device...
What if I had some more real estate would my flashlight fail if mounted farther forward like this....

Even if you're okay with the weight all the way out to the front (probably helps recoil, but slows down your tracking), you're going to get a lot of muzzle debris, gas residue and unburnt powder on the lens. I can't say I'd recommend it. I don't know what advantage having the light that far forward affords, either.
Do what you want, baw.

Yeah man I have a Haley Strategic Thorntail mount on backorder at brownells, but for the time being I'm going to mount direct to the 12 on the pic.

In all seriousness, I will give you $75 for that SSA-E if you're just going to waste it in a 15-22.
When you typed it out, it was ludicrous. To actually do it -
ETA: American money

Finally took out my 10.5 radical firearms 556.
Worked just fine. No flaws. Adjusted the red dot best I could and was happy. The. Rocked a rail road plate I hung out at 100 yds. Not bad. This was at the camp where we just goof and shoot. I'll take it to the range one day for better paper targeting.

Need a future update. I want to pick one up, but am seriously questioning the quality.
