Do you have silencers in stock? How does that work if you have to order one? Is the wait time extended?

If a dealer does not have it in stock (he has to order it or you order one off the internet) then it does extend the wait time a little. How much just depends on a couple factors. Feel free to give me a call or stop by if you want to talk about options.

I'll probably stop by. I need to spend a little money.

I think it really just depends. I've seen form 3s comes back in a few weeks and some take as much as 60 days. It's kind of like variance paperwork. I almost think the ATF does it in batches for each distro. If you get in on the top of the stack you can get out quick. Some people say its OK to send form 4s in when the distro gives them the serial before the form 3 even comes back. .

My fingers are still crossed for instant form 3s

Same, I always err on the conservative side though.

Always heard this is a big no no. Small chance of getting caught, but still.

I don't do it either, but people have said their IOI told them is was acceptable. I have reps that have said it is OK too, not that they should be trusted. It goes against my 'don't poke the bear' belief though.

Form 3 is for dealer to dealer transfer. Form 1 is what you fill if you build something yourself. Form 4 is what you would fill for NFA items from factory (factory SBR or supressor). This is for dealers to individuals.

Form 1 - Manufacturing a NFA item (Think building an SBR)

Form 4 - NFA item transfer from FFL to Trust/Individual

Form 3 - NFA transfer from dealer to dealer. They are talking about the paperwork they file to transfer from the manufacturer to the store.

My radical firearms 10.5 upper came in. This is it on psa lower. Kak shockwave and Daniel defense sights. 16" PSA AR above. Both in 556

26" overall length to end of the actual barrel to install AFG? I know it's a debated topic.

Carson, do you all stock the AAC 556-SD or do you have to order it from the manufacturer?

Really? I like the price point on the 556-SD and thought they had good reliability. What are the top shelf brands Silencerco, Surefire, Gemtech?

ETA: I guess the Specwar 556 is next up on the list for me

What you mentioned. Surefire is a bit overpriced though just because they have SOCOM contracts and they feel like they can charge whatever they want. SiCo gives you awesome value and is kind of the industry standard these days (unless you are looking for precision rifle cans in which I believe Thunderbeast holds that title). Dead air is great, Rugged is great, Crux is great, SiCo is great, AAC is not
