I wanted an AK for years.

Couldn't stomach the prices for them.

Just built an AR47 under $500 and it's been fantastic.

Love the price of the ammo.

Sorry but it looks like you really wanted an AR. Kalashnikov is rolling in his grave

Lol yeah I don't have any other AKs to fill the traditional AK role...I just jumped in and went full on straight high end hybrid...right. With that said good eye...its meant to be an east meets west style gun ;)

I love the classic AK look...they fact they chew through cheep ammo...and are more or less hard to kill.

Most recent pickup. Zpap

Few Russian Veprs in different calibers. Sold the 54r and .308 version tho. And put some wood on the polymer one.

Got a few others I may dig out for pics.

I wouldn’t mind a sagia in the mix but not paying for that now. I decided to stick to the traditional 7.62x39 ammo since it’s the most prevalent. That’s why I sold the 54r...and didn’t really need the 308.

I had two Chinese AKs but lost in a boating accident. One was a MAK, the other a pre ban Type 56 fully outfitted with the pre ban stuff still. Had the bayonet lug and bayonet but it's not a spiker. I'd love to own a spiker.

Not my gun pictured but one I'd like to have

I also had a Bulgarian AK74 parts kit built onto a Nodak receiver by Century Arms that believe it or not hadn't been any problems before boating accident. Got lucky I guess. I've always wanted a Polish Tantal though for some reason. Maybe it's the Bakelite furniture, gloss black barrel, and history behind them but always thought they were cool guns. Should have gotten a parts kit back in the day

May be a dumb question, but are all slidefire/bump stocks illegal? I’ve tried looking it up and the only thing I’m seeing is that they are illegal in most states.

Only AK related because Ive seen a few stocks in the past that were on a Saiga Izhmash

pre ban Type 56

This in om list to add to my connection own one day.

The Chinese 56 is about the only Chinese product I will be happy to own

I lkine my AKs simple and to the taditional look. None of this plastic tapco add ons.

The only think I swapped out on mine were the grips. Both came with crappy grips. I added a wooden grip that I stained to to match the model and I added a proper grip for the Yugo NPAP

They really are some fine pieces with the blueing and the way they are put together with good steel....for a Kalashnikov at least.

The Yugos are nice. I have a Zastava pistol that is very well made

my yugo milled underfolder had a cross carved on the wood on the upper hand guard. Pretty cool given the circumstances

Looks like Atlantic Firearms is about to get a shipment of ZPAP92s. These are supposed to be shipping with chrome lines barrels. Pretty cool.
