I regularly try to beat people off the line at red lights. Actually just about anytime I'm first in line at a red light, I put the pedal to the floor when it turns green. My truck doesn't have much power so it doesn't feel like I burn a lot of gas, but I do.

I usually leave the winn dixie once or twice a week and pull onto burbank, most of the time I just pull into traffic and put the pedal down just to see if I can get up to speed before the person coming catches up to me. I get like 12-13 mpg around BR I get better mileage than that pulling the boat

I need to give things a break and take it easy. To much beer drinking help put my arse into the hospital last weekend.
I did hit Old River today. No bass and 12 sacalait. Everybody I talked to were not catching shite. The shad were so thick that they were trying to get into the boat. Water was a bit muddy. Guess wind and rain has it screwed up.
I will hit the bar pits or False River my next trip.
