I don't blame y'all. Can be dangerous hunting that way and I avoid drinking and hunting. Especially in an open field where people are walking everywhere.

If you think that 16 bites should try shooting my 12

One of the guys on the trip picked it up and said "Holy shite that's heavy"

A few beers may have been consumed. But we all kept it to 1 or 2 max over several hours while in the field. Back at camp after firearms were cleaned and stored I think 1-3 drinks per person max. were consumed.

It carries as hard as it hits. Ask the pheasant that BP blew a hole through...

mine had a hard plastic butt plate. that I replaced with a rubber slip over pad for now.

It was my wife's grandfathers gun.

A bit of a time crunch with us hunting pheasant during mid day.

Also had difficulty because the property owners were all out in the field running combines and not at the farm houses available to talk with.

but of those we asked permission was not difficult.

next time we secure 3-4 spots with good ducks prior to arrival per day of planned hunting.

Securing ducks wasnt difficult... It was awkard as hell though cause all the farmers were in the fields and the wives were the one's home.

Just felt like I was being a creeper beating on doors mid day.

Did you secure future hunts with gifts of boudin or shrimp?
