Man I'm just a dude trying to make a good living while being able to do the things I love to do. I'm not asking for the world, just an opportunity at it.

You were land or offshore? Either way NTG consulting has immediate openings, go check it out asap.

significantly better inshore and offshore fishing than the others (excluding florida)?
North Carolina
South Carolina
Atlantic coast of Fla is probably 2x the length of any other state with some pretty distinct fishing zones.

Pogey you are doing it right.
Calculate your moves precisely before you settle down, have kids and all that.
The 99% that didnt are laying down at night dreaming of that job out on the east coast with no way to even begin the process.

They are but still hasn't led to me getting any bites. Been applying in TX and COL hard but no luck yet.
This current price drop isnt likely to help.

No I'm thinking it won't help.
But I do know that some people I'm graduating with are getting some interviews and what not. Not many offers yet but I'm thinking they might start coming in the next couple months.

If so let me know and I'll post up an email address.

Where are you located? I am Civil-Geotechnical and heavy construction. I have some connections in Mobile. I am not up to speed on the Coastal degree tho. I know UF has a big program.

This thread. Good stuff.
Just a thought, don't hesitate to throw intern related stuff on here as well.
I know a good bit of engineering/CM guys currently at LSU who read this board daily, myself included.

ME
Forestry was awesome, but I needed to pay bills, and didn't see much potential for growth without starting to buy timber myself. Now I'm hearing of kids around here starting off at $50k+ and getting jobs relatively easily
