Anybody happen to live in walker off Pendarvis? Specifically in the Wolf Pointe subdivision?

I had to leave for work yesterday afternoon with water still a good ways from my front door, but there was 21" of water at the street...
Wasn't too concerned at the time, as there was still a good 2ft of elevation before I had issues in the house, but with all the continued rain, it has me a bit worried!

I am off 449. Water level has stayed the same for the past 12 hours. Not sure how far that is from you.

We made it through last night with no water in the house, just the shed. It appears that the water has started receding in my yard by a couple inches. Be safe out there folks, this ain't no joke!

My yard is under and the poor dog couldn't find a piece of dry ground to shite. She ended up walking around dragging her arse through the water looking for a spot that felt right. Times are hard.

Probably in the middle of the road to be honest.

Me and Creamer will be heading back out to his moms in Zachary in a few hours. Water was at our waste yesterday and has risen another several feet. Should be interesting if we can even make it to her property

I'm in Zachary, at the back end of 39th street area, most of it drains to my yard. I'm good since my house is off the ground. Had ditches over filled and about 8 inches of water in my backyard yesterday. It's dropped today. I've dumped a total of 10 inches from my rain gauge, but it's rained more. If anyone needs help, I'm able. No boat though, left that in Ellic area last weekend.

There's a very good interactive topo map of Ascension parish available online also. It's easy to read and that's the only way you're gonna find out for sure if you're getting water in your house ahead of time. I

I think iot will be worse but we need to distinguish in the lower Amite from rain water and storm surge. Isaac was only storm surge for us. Allison was all rain in 2001, The spring storm, before the first rain drops fell, the water was at the top of my bulkhead due to a week of south winds. For the spring event the projections would have put hwy 22 & 16 under water at head of island. This time I fully expect those roads to go under.
