His camp is elevated so it will be fine. He said in march it was still about 3' from getting on the slab underneath. He and his neighbor went and stocked up on food and beer yesterday morning said they were going to ride it out. He's got a 28' pontoon boat back there if he needs to evacuate.

Good luck to you and be safe.

In laws live on Salisbury drive in the avalon neighborhood off Millerville. Water is in houses down the street and still rising. It's very close to their house. Can't get through to them over AT&T. They are older but FIL is capable.
Anyone have any numbers they can call besides 911? Im not sure I can get to them from Thibodaux. I don't have a shallow enough boat to get there. Just a snorkeled Honda rancher and a pirogue.

- I'm about to load up the 4wheeler and pirogue and head that way. If anyone knows of closures or something that would prevent I-10:I-12 to Millerville let me know

Heads up, HWY 22 in Ascension, close to the Diversion Canal has at most a couple of hours before before the water covers the road.

I-12 at Millerville

That's I-12 at O'Neil Lane exit.

Good website to go to as all the other traffic cams run by DOTD can be accessed after closing the O'Neil camera window. These are real-time images.
