It really upsets me. I'm wasting an extremely good dog by making a tracking dog out of here. A blind deaf and dumb wennie dog could blood trail deer and I'm trying to make the baddest long legged blood lusty bloodhound on earth track deer

I like long legged ultra-high powered beagles, but they don't even seem to exist anymore.
And when you do find one it wants to run deer more than rabbits.

Got a guy at work that field trials and breeds them. Used to have them in Reserve, but he moved to the LP. He's always selling the ones that are too slow, don't bark enough, etc.

my mom actually gave a guy around here the brothers and sisters of her dogs and wanted to see if he was breeding em so she could have some pups. Hes a cop as well.. AD.. you prob know him... I gotta get ahold of him. She said shed take the whole litter if he breeds em

A true beagle should have a little leg on it. Most have a little basset hound a couple of generations back and get that squatty look.
The guys I know who run them like the shorter legged dog to slow them down even more.
