Just checked LA Sportsman Forum and was quickly reminded why I don't anymore.

20 threads on the first page of the Waterfowl forum. 16 asking about teal sightings. 4 labeled simply "Teal" with a couple more labeled "Teal sightings" or "sightings". shite is a clusterfrick.

I just looked, that is comical. What kills me is that 99% of those threads have 0-1 reply, yet they still keep making new "teal" threads. A world of their own.....

Up in NWLA, I saw a couple yesterday fly over top my truck while driving around town, but nothing really to report. That being said, I'll be out there and ready:

1 dz gwt, 2 dz bwt, 1/2 dz mallards, 10 gadwall, 3 dekes on a jerk string, and a gwt mojo to boot.

If they come anywhere near our hole, they should come piling in to the spread. Ready to see some feathers flying.

Dad talked to some farmers in gueydan today. Reports are scattered but a little better. Told him lots of birds 5 miles south. So i assume around white lake. Hopefully they head north sat morn.

Same here, both my leases don't have shite. Called my cousin, our lease in Leeville doesn't have jack. I don't even think we will hunt that lease for Teal this season. My other lease in Roanoke has a few and I'm being generous when I say that.

Haven't seen any anywhere. Not looking like it'll be worth it. I'll likely go fishing or dove hunting instead.

Some guys @ the Delta Waterfowl banquet in DeRidder were saying that they had thousands of birds on their lease just north of welsh. This was Tuesday, 2 days ago...

If there is any truth to that, they will be moving once the shooting start Saturday morning.

There is a cold front rolling down from the north. Wind direction is going to flip and temps will drop 5-10 degrees. This SHOULD push some birds down.

New report from Reggio this morning. Brother only saw 2 teal. He got out way before daylight. Water is very very high. The water is in the parking lot at Mikes.
