Probably my Springfield M1A if I absolutely had to keep only one.
Or my Dad's old Lefever Arms Nitro Special 12 ga double.

Ha! I read the thread title and immediately thought of my old beat up 870. Probably the least expensive piece in the safe, but absolutely responsible for more death, destruction and general getting out of shitty situations than all the others combined. Definitely my go to over all the other much “nicer” ones. Close second would be the 10-22.
