Went two weeks ago and it didn't seem like the bass had moved into the deeper water yet.

Caught most in about 6-9 foot of water, but with all this heat they may be deeper now. We did catch some nice fish, though!

Me and you fish the same places....

We fish humps mostly near deep water.

I will be fishing in 5 hours.

Sleep Friday and fish the basin or Big Lake Saturday .

We caught 50 White Bass and 22 bass.

Fished only 5 hours Wed night die to lightening and 7 hours Thu night.

I missed a giant fishing near the river, was bowed up on it for about 15 seconds and I literally couldn't reel it in...broke off.
Threw right back out with some braid and caught one 5 lbs.

Fish weren't biting as they usually do at night, not sure why.

And "Humps" means finding shallow spots in deep water usually 3-15' in 8-40' foot of water if that makes it any easier to understand.

Stop in Elton to fill up my truck and the fricker locks itself while I'm pumping gas. The keys were in the ignition. I heard the horn blow and the doors lock and I'm like WTF?

Had to wait almost 2 hours for my brother to locate my spare key and bring it to me.

Thank goodness there was beer in the store and a TV, I was buzzed when he got there.

Called GMC and they said "That's not normal" Well no shite.

Fish are being caught South near Indian Mounds I heard today.

I stay Mid Lake at that little place right past the bridge, kind of plain but the launch is right there.

Guy today said he was catching in 30' of water on White Ice Flukes ....go figure.

Heading to the Basin tomorrow, I better get to bed

Chrome Chartreuse Rat-L-Trap is what I use..

Other people use white crank baits, spoons, one knockers, plastics, as long as it's white or chrome they seem to eat it.

We made 2 passes along the lights and caught 50.

I had mine do the same in a boat slip. Lucky my dam window was halfway down. Now I don't leave my keys in when I get out, unless I'm at home.
