Toledo bend must have some big arse gates. USGS is showing it already back below 173 and falling fast.

They do. Look out Sabine River it's comng.
Will be there fishing Friday the 18th for 10 days. Already calling for more rain.

We never sight fish. If we come up on one we may through a bait at it, but we never target them.
We usually start at 20 foot and work in until we find a pattern.

What sucks is that we have a camp just below where the river is having that big rise right now. Not gonna be good. But still not as bad as it is for all the people that are being flooded from their homes

Maybe a few fish will actually get to spawn now without getting beaten on the head with 3/4 ounce spinnerbaits by the nutty weekend warrior-sight fishing hordes????

Check that.....some cat on the OT said generator #2 was down for routine maintenance. I bet they hate missing out on this opportunity.
