That's pretty much where we are too. What kind of boat is he in?

There were a bunch of boats around the state park this morning. The few we have talked to had pretty good reports too.

I'm pretty sure we are over 10 keepers and prolly 15-20 total. I'm almost out of senkos but sweet beavers, craw tubes, hell anything made of plastic has worked.

Also, we are basically casting on the bank and reeling it back in the water and just waiting for a bite anywhere bewtween 6 inches and 6 feet of water.

He's in a red, white, and blue Stratos. He said he's been mostly flipping bushes with a sweet beaver.

Maybe that's the difference. We aren't in bushes, we're in people's living rooms

eta - we're in a black and white triton 186. Dual console. I'll look for him.

I talked to him about 20 minutes ago and he had just started back fishing. Said he's been fishing the bushes in 3-4 feet of water, I told him he needs to go shallower He's fishing a club tourney, and not doing too good

Oh he's miles out

Tell him to get shallow now. Pops just landed a 6-4 on a sweet beaver. I'll post pics when I get home.

I told him to go shallower, he had about 50 minutes left to fish when I talked to him, he should be headed to weigh-in now.

We had a good day.

Boated over 30 keepers. Biggest was pops' 6-4. My biggest was 3-14. I had another 4-5 get the rim of the net and got off. It got bleak for a minute when I thought I was down to my last senko. I managed to find another bag in the back corner of my tackle

This lake is amazing. All the fish are chunks and very healthy. Even with all the boat pressure we were able to catch fish.

We stayed super shallow. I think one reason why we would go behind a boat and catch fish is because other boats were outside of the bushes pitching into them. We were in between the bushes and the bank. My trolling motor was scraping the ground and we were still casting towards the bank.

Initially, there was talk of us cutting out early when we saw all the rain early this week. Now, we've got our sick day excuses ready for Monday so we can hammer them tomorrow as well

Place is chocolate milk today everywhere around us. Thought it would ruin our fishing but this place is just the gift that keeps on giving.

We're out of the water now checking out if the cabin but we had 10 keepers all around 16 inches, longest being just over 17. This was all before 9:30 am.

Boats are starting to pile up now. We'll prolly fish a few more hours then head home. With smiles on everybody's faces.

I have to get up for work at 3:30 AM, so don't sleep as much as I would like. I just started working 12 hour days, but it's 7 on, 7 off. More free time for fishing for me!
