It’s crazy how easy it is to catch reds in hackberry compared to grand isle these days. Hell it’s easier for me to catch them in vermilion bay than it is grand isle

That seems crazy to me! It is not exactly hard to pull a few reds in Hackberry, but I also don't fish GI. Everything I have ever heard is that it is the exact opposite.

Years ago the marsh above grand isle was great for redfish.

It still is. You just can't catch fish

Yes, my fishing ability has gotten so much worse since I was 12.

Guess you’d put Aaron Pierce into the can’t catch fish category too then. He’s publicly stated how hard it’s gotten to catch redfish around Leeville. But I’m sure it has nothing to do with the bow hunters plowing through all the shallow ponds every night flinging arrows under lights that put Tiger Stadium’s to shame.

There's 2 bowfishermen in leeville that just so happen to be a few minutes from their lodge. I'm pretty sure they butt heads on alot of things.

Yall act like there's more bowfishermen then rod and reel.

I actually talked to them the other day and they had an ice chest full. I mean two of the guides that fish with Aaron used to do IFA and Elite and wear the reds out in leeville and Golden Meadow.
