New pistol build Glock 34: update after range trip

Got a new polymer80 frame and put this one together. I only used files to finish the parts that needed to be machined.
Has a Zev spring and connector kit. The rest is Glock parts kit.
ETA: the slide is a Brownells’ RMR slide.
The trigger is spectacular
Will try and shoot it this weekend.
Updated below.

It’s an inexpensive one that I found on on a website called peace geek. It was $80.

Did you finish the lower? How difficult was it?

I did. It’s an 80% lower.
I used a pretty aggressive rasp on the rail sections and a round one on the spring section.
Only took about 20-25 min.
Drilling took maybe two minutes. I’ve tried using a drill press and a router on others but this was the easiest to me.

Looks good! Looks very similar to a polymer 80 build I did.
I have to say I really like the polymer 80 frame more than a regular glock frame.

That looks really good civil.
This is the 2nd one that I've done with a polymer80. The 1st is a 17.
Same color pattern.
I had a guy at the range a few weeks ago when I was playing with the 17. He had a Glock in 17. Mine shot better and felt better.
I will say that the Zev spring/connector kit really makes a big difference. Best $27 you can spend on a glock.

Stock glock trigger other than the spring?

There are 3 springs in the kit and a connector. trigger spring, firing pin spring and the firing pin saftey pin (I really don't know what it's called).

How much do you have in it?
With the upgraded sights I have right at $600 in it.

Nice job! What kind of sights did you upgrade to?

Update after taking it to the range this afternoon:
This thing ran really well. There were a couple of hiccups but kinda expected one or two since it’s new.
The cheap barrel is accurate. I shot mostly free hand at 15 yds and the grouping was really good.
I did shoot a few out to 25yds and they grouped to around 4-5”. If I were a better shooter it would have been better.
Brought it home and cleaned it up really well. Looking forward to try it out again soon.

How's that slide? I saw, I think, that slide on gunbroker and thought about it.

It’s a Swenson slide. I haven’t had any problems with it. I got a Swenson barrel as well, figured they should work well together being they are made by the same company.

I have a Swenson on a 17 I built.
Works really well. Swenson barrel as well.

So it's a 34 slide on a p80 17?
How good of a deal is this?

Its pretty good.
My frame was $119 with free shipping and the slide was $199 if I remember correctly.
My slide is the same as this one.
Just looked it up.
I was correct, 119 and 199. I had free shipping on both, FYI.

Just finished my polymer 80 build. I looked at the other two stripped slides in this thread and almost went that route but I found a stripped ZEV for $250ish and went with that. Syndicate barrel. OEM lower parts and slide parts. Haven't shot it yet but it sure is pretty.
