My Revo SX is my favorite. I like my Curado 200E7, but the SX's braking system are much better in the wind IMO.

I refuse to pay more for a reel than I do a driver.

What do you pay for a driver?

And I'm the opposite, my golf clubs are shite and I can't bring myself to pay for nicer ones. I just can't see it helping me enough to justify it. Practice would do me more good. I don't golf very often though

Varies. Usually eBay or a golf classifieds though. Never more than $200, and almost pulled the trigger on one this year at $139.95.

I've only had one driver. When I start playing frequently I always say I need to get another one, but then I just decide against it and end up not playing for a year or more
A new driver and set of wedges would be nice though.

:mindblown:

There have been years where I've played 5 different drivers. I've owned at least 7 Titleists alone and probably nearly that many Taylormades. I have 5 sets of irons right now

My set of clubs are a set of golfsmith clubs my dad built for somebody he worked with, and the guy ended up buying another set a few years later and gave them to him. I just bought a putter and hybrid, both golfsmith stuff that me and my dad put together.

I actually have a set of shaft extensions for all of my irons sitting in a closet, we never got around to putting them on. My irons are about .5" too short for me. Maybe that's why I suck so much with them...

I'd spend another $10 and get a Revo S. Solid arse reel, I like them more than the Citicas.

Rod: Carrotstick or Wright&McGill Skeet Reese rods are adequate

Reel: Abu Garica Revo

What you should buy: Loomis NRX with a Shimano Core.

The Pro Qualifier Reels at BPS are on sale for $79.99. I have 3 and have never had a problem with them. Casts as far as any reel I have ever owned. I've had them 3 years without any problems.
