Need some recommendations for a fish taxidermist in the BR area

Caught my first trophy grade bass and need some recommendations for a good taxidermy shop in the Baton Rouge area. Looking to do a skin on not a reproduction.

I used Clayton Callender in Oyska, MS to do these. Me and my 12 yr old son caught in our lake back in March a few days apart. He did both for $400. Great dude and does good work.

I went to Jim Bourne in Denham Springs, when I tell you my jaw dropped when I saw it I mean it. Other taxidermist go to him to paint some of their mounts, I think he uses auto paint on the fish

Get a replica. It’ll look great and last much longer.

Is Nicky Bonura still doing it? The one he did for me is still the most realistic bass mount I have ever seen.

Didnt have appropriate measuring tape to get the right stats for a replica.

25in should put him right at about 10lbs go with that. anyone dude that questions you on the true length tell them to quit lying about their 8in an you will quit lying about your 25in

I use Fins n Feathers in St Amant, Thad does good work and a good guy.
