If you are looking for a mono, Suffix Elite Mono is top notch. Really like it

Sensation mono. I cannot fish fluorocarbon. Wish I could, but I am terrible with it.

Sufix 832 for braid. Berkley vanish for fluoro leader.

Power pro for braid, Flouro I use Gamma on bait casters and power pro /gamma leader on spinning rods. Top water I use Stren and Trilene big game

Baitcaster: Suffix 832 or PowerPro SuperSlick8 in 40lb. Almost always tied to a Seaguar Redline Fluoro leader. 10, 15 or 20lb depending on application.
Spinning: Berkley Nanofil (in green specifically) or Ardent Gliss. Mainly throw 8lb or 12lb. Almost always tied to an 8lb Seaguar Redline Fluoro leader.
For crankbaits or trolling setups (for slabs): 12lb Berkley Trilene XL. Fluoro is undoubtedly a better option here, but I snag and lose a ton of line trolling so mono gets the nod for being more forgiving and cheaper.

Braid - frogs, jigs no stretch applications.
I use an 8 stran or 9 stran in .010 for deep diving crankbaits like old bomber 9A’s, deep diving Mann’s lures, larger strike kings.
Fluro- worm, jig, or fluro leader to braid usually in no stretch applications
Mono- Crankbaits and Topwater
I use stern or trilene XL (smoother casting) versus Trilene XT (extra tuff).
Some worm applications I do use XT.
Soften it with silicone when I put it on the reel.
At times shallow water flipping when I do not want a braid application or too cheap or do not have fluro use XT line.
Finding you feel structure and the bottom better with fluro.

I mainly fish inshore. I use Power Pro Slick 30 with a Seaguar Invisx 15lb leader most of the time.
However, I have been using a 14lb mono leader as of late for trout fishing. I like to use a faster tip rod and that extra stretch definitely helps to lose less fish.

Suffix Elite Mono
Use it for salt and freshwater and rarely, if ever have issues.
I especially like mono for trout, just have to retie every 10th fish or so to make sure there are no frays in your line.

I've been a braid guy for years but recently spooled up two reels with mono, mainly to target finicky mangrove snapper. It's resulted in me catchinging a lot more specks. I don't want to overthink it, but so many people use braid now inshore that it's like the fish have wised up to it to an extent, at least the big ones
