Looks good. Look into Bar top coatings. It is a epoxy base build up that looks real outstanding.

Maybe next time just take your top to a local cabinet shop to have it sanded down flat.

My log trailer I'm building. Even installed some white oak boards on it today.

Check in the back of the lumber section at Home Depot. They have stuff that has been cut and left for 70% off. If you don't mine random sizes to do little projects with it is a gold mine. We've got pieces of plywood that we're 4x4 and sections of 2x4 that were about 3 feet.

Really should have had a pocket door in the laundry room. You can close the door but if the front loader moves even a 1/8" i the spin cycle it can block the door closed. Wife wanted a barn door so I made her a barn door.

Thinking about getting a Kreg. Are there any discernible advantages to getting one that costs more than $20 besides ease of use? I see one that has one hole for $19 on Amazon, and one with 2 for $40. Most of the stuff I would use it for I would only need one screw so having two seems like a waste.

May seem silly, but this took a lot of time and work.

Excellent little Sunday car now.

The one holer will get the job done but it can be a pain in the arse. I have the two hole one with the groove for the clamp and it makes the job much easier.

Thanks. I'm mostly building little projects and at the end of the day it is only $20 more. I also have a ton of different clamps already. Does it have to use their clamps or would any style work? Just couldn't tell from small online pics.

any style will work

The circular piece is removable and the surface under it is flat

I would skip on the Kreg and get the Drill Master from Harbor Freight, it's a great unit. All aluminum construction and made surprisingly well.
