I can take a few for you but really it's not that impressive. I just made a table top the length of my shop which is 30' and put the miter saw smack in the middle. Made the table 2' wide and used a straight edge to get my fence perfectly inline with miter fence.
I will be in the process of building me a bigger shop in the near future and my layout for it will be sick. I'll put up pics so my fellow wood workers can get ideas and give me feedback if changes should be made!
Thanks for all the comments on my projects. This is a hobby of mine
Sweet setup though as the saw is always ready to cut and you have a nice place to put drops and scrap too. Dragging the saw and sawhorses out just to make a cut or two is a PITA.

Going in the opposite direction. This may be the second worst thing I've ever built.
A bowl I made in Cub Scouts. Was at my parents'. Spotted in in one of my dad's sheds. The worst thing was probably a wooden block with "Chip off the old block" burned into it.

Made this out of an old table we weren't using.

Those are very useful lol.
Built a coffee table for a lady about 6 months ago, now she wants an end table to match. Problem is, I mixed the stain for the coffee table and can't remember what it consisted of. So now I'm just experimenting until I get it as close as possible.

Sport tiger, how do you cut those radiuses in those 2x's? Band saw? Jigsaw?

Like that setup a lot. You don't have any runoff from the house roof onto the outdoor kitchen?

Only with hard rains. I am working on adding some flashing to stop it from happening. Mostly goes into existing gutters

No cement board, stone or heat jackets to protect the combustible wood from the grills? Wouldn't that be a fire hazard?

I did these with a jig saw. and a lot of sanding.

Did you build it freestanding like that to avoid having to get it permitted?

Cement board around the interior Insets for the grills. Slate on the cement board for the primo inset.
As far as the free standing. Yes and no. Yes I didn't want to have to worry with permitting and also lower cost. But with it being more rustic than the rest of the back porch I decided to do it this way for some separation.

Haven't got it quite finished (Waiting on cabinet door frame to come in) but here is my first attempt at doing some woodworking since back in Jr. High (back when T-Rex roamed the Earth)

What did that outdoor fireplace cost (ballpark)? I've been debating building one at the house.

That is a nice bar top slab. What kind of wood?
Posted on 9/19/16 at 8:33 pm to fishfighter
Red oak with about 7 coats of marine epoxy over it

Started hanging some wainscoting in the camp. After milling and letting the dry, I pass each board thru my planner. Then pass the boards over a Dado blade on my tablesaw. Getting a nickel gap or ship lap. The boards are water oak. This is one of the reasons I bought a sawmill.
